ART DIRECTION :: STYLING / DESIGN

CLIENT: General Motors
DESIGN:

The hit television show RIDES will join with GM to unveil the HHR. It's a new car that will first show itself at The Detroit Auto Show. They'll be rebuilt by four separate top designers, each using four different build teams, all giving their own different take on this mysterious ride that is just now arriving. Why such a variation on a theme? Well, that's the beauty of a concept car; until it's actually in production, it's still something of a workable clay subject, and RIDES will see what a quartet of talent can do, each putting their own spin into a four-of-a-kind reveal, the likes of which the car world has never seen. GM displayed all 4 projects at the 2005 SEMA show in the GM Booth.
