Sellers Equipped
Very excited to highlight a new project in the works. I’m going to be starting a new website for a Nor Cal Hot Rod icon and friend!
Steve Sellers is building a Place for himself at Room 13 in San Jose California! A native of Northern California’s South Bay area, Steve grew up on the excuse most commonly given by our generation for getting caught up in cars: Sellers mentions, “From Day One, Bro – Legos™, Hot Wheels™, model cars…but I was putting valve stems on the wheels of my models and scuffing the tires so they looked real. Spark plug wires and shit like that, y’know.” Sellers Equipped is turning out hard parts and car projects featuring quality levels of finnish beyond compare. From Hallock-style windshields to projects like the Reeps ’34 Ford pickup, Steve’s attention to detail is a window to the love and dedication he puts into every single thing he does. “You have to want it to get it,” Steve explains, “and no one ever handed me anything. The shop and everything in it – it’s such a great feeling of satisfaction to see it all and tell people who come by that, I’m the owner. That this is my place.” SE

Truckin’ (Full Post)
It’s Been a while since we last featured the artwork of Joe Iacono, so we figured we check to see what he’s been up to recently. If you don’t already know his story, Joe started his studio, Iacono Design Group, In 2000, and has kept himself busy with many innovative, high profile gigs since then. Joe has designed custom vehicles for he likes of rocker Tommy Lee and many world renowned shops that build only the best. For those of you who are stroller bound kiddies, you might be interested in Joe’s most recent venture, Kid Kustoms. If you you haven’t already heard or seen The Roddler, we can only describe it as one of the coolest, most full blown custom lines of baby haulers that has ever existed. One thing that has not changed about ‘Joe Iacono’ his work is sure to ‘wow’ anyone who lays their eyes on it. – by John Mata Jr, Truckin Mag
